Privacy Policy
TinyPicTools is built so that we never receive your images in the first place. This page explains exactly what that means, and what we do collect.
Your images
Every tool on this site processes images inside your own browser using the Canvas, Web Worker and File APIs. The image is read from your device into your browser's memory, transformed there, and written back out as a download.
The image content is not transmitted to our server. There is no upload endpoint for these tools — not one that is disabled, one that does not exist. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network panel, and use any tool on the site. You will see requests for the page and its scripts, and no request carrying your image.
Closing or refreshing the page discards the working state entirely. Nothing is stored on your device either, unless you download the result yourself.
Tools that would need a server
Some future features — background removal, for example — may not be practical to run locally on every device. If we ever add one, it will be labelled clearly before you use it:
- 🔒 Processed on your device
- ☁ Requires secure server processing
We will not describe a feature as local if it is not. Today, every tool on this site is in the first category.
What we do collect
Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamp) are recorded by our hosting provider and used for security and diagnostics.
If analytics is enabled, we record anonymous usage events such as which tool was opened, whether processing completed, and whether a download was clicked. These events never include your filename, your image, its metadata, EXIF fields, or GPS coordinates. There is no mechanism in the site that could send any of that.
Cookies and advertising
We use a cookie to remember your language and theme preference. If advertising is enabled, our advertising partner may set cookies to serve and measure ads; those cookies are governed by their own policies and can be managed through your browser settings and, where applicable, the consent banner.
Third parties
The only third-party services this site may load are analytics and advertising, both optional and both listed above. Image processing libraries are served from this domain, not from a CDN.
Children
This site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your images are handled, the change will be described here in plain language rather than buried in a revision.
